When I'm on SBC dsl, I use
       sl-gw16-kc-8-0.sprintlink.net
   and sl-gw10-kc-5-0.sprintlink.net
   and bb1-g1-0.ksc2mo.swbell.net
   and bb2-p14-0.ksc2mo.sbcglobal.net
   and bb2-p9-0.rcsntx.sbcglobal.net
   and bb1-p13-0.hrndva.sbcglobal.net
   and bb1-p12-0.eqabva.sbcglobal.net
When I'm on Roadrunner, I use
       pos1-1.kscyks119-ubr1.kc.rr.com
   and pos2-0.kscymoworn-rtr1.kc.rr.com
   and pos6-1.kscymordc-rtr2.kc.rr.com
   and srp14-0.kscymordc-rtr3.kc.rr.com
   and srp14-0.kscymordc-rtr4.kc.rr.com

These sets of ntp serves are both closer, and less loaded than
the ones "everyone" uses.
