Local News: The Mizzou Linux Users Group Open Source Exposition
Keep the 24th of October open for the Mizzou Linux Users Group Open Source
Exposition to be held at the Columbia Holiday Inn Expo Center from 10:00am
until 6:00pm. This will be an opportunity to meet with venders, attend
workshops, and listen to speakers describe their perspectives on the Open
Source Revolution. This is not limited to Linux; any Open Source operating
system or programming language is fair game.
The Keynote Speaker will be ~Eric S. Raymond <http://www.tuxedo.org/esr/>,
FetchMail programmer, emacs collaborator, author, and long-time advocate of
the Open Source Model <http://www.opensource.org/osd.html> in software
design.
